Coronavirus Update - World Festival of Interiors and World Architecture Festival still planned for December
With our annual Festival scheduled for 2 – 4 December, in Lisbon, we are making preparations for the event in the usual way.
Mindful of the effect of the Coronavirus on communities across the world (including the UK), and along with all responsible event organizers, we are monitoring the situation in respect of our responsibilities towards delegates, exhibitors and staff.
We hope that by the autumn, the health situation will have stabilised, bearing in mind what now seems to be happening in China.
The shortlisting of award entries, which takes place in London in the summer, is also scheduled to continue as planned, again subject to monitoring. All entries will also be listed on the World Buildings Directory once entries have closed.
WAF and INSIDE’s parent company, EMAP, is committed to the highest standards of health and safety at all its events, and we will give comprehensive advice, as needed, in respect of WAF 2020.
We look forward to receiving award entries in the normal way; for information the number of completed entries so far this year replicates 2019 figures.
We hope that you and your practice are coping as well as possible in current circumstances, and offer our best wishes for a return to calmer times. Should you have any questions or concerns about your entry please contact us on email@example.com and a member of the team will happily call you back.
