Tim began his career in 1996 at pioneering architecture practice Michael Hopkins and Partners, having graduated from Oxford Brookes University, and later followed two of the partners to Pringle Richards Sharratt working on competition winning projects in the UK. Since joining Squire and Partners in 1998, Tim has taken a leading role in the design direction of the practice and delivered several prestigious central London residential and office developments including the Bulgari Hotel & Residences, 50 St Edmund’s Terrace, One the Elephant, Clarges Mayfair, The Ministry and the practice’s own new offices, The Department Store in Brixton. Designs delivered by Tim’s team have earned the practice a number of awards from the British Council of Offices, the Civic Trust, World Architecture Festival and the International Property Awards. Artwork and bespoke installations conceived under his direction have been exhibited at The Royal Academy, the Royal Festival Hall and the London Design Festival, as well as internationally in Shanghai and Milan. A regular speaker at industry events for New London Architecture and Royal Institute of British Architects, Tim has also been a tutor at the Architectural Association Summer School. Leading a team of architects, illustrators, interior designers and model makers, Tim’s creative input continues to shape the direction of the practice.
